Dr. Tracy Douglas is a decorated veteran and a passionate veterinarian with special focus on internal medicine, preventative care, neurology and surgery. After receiving her undergraduate degree from the United States Military Academy in West Point, NY, she spent five years in the U.S. Army, where she earned the rank of Captain. As a travel lover, she found herself living in Australia, where she obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from the University of Melbourne. Dr. Douglas worked as a Veterinary Nurse, Emergency Veterinarian and Veterinarian. Today, she is an Associate Veterinarian at Banfield Pet Hospital, Vancouver, Washington.
Growing up on a farm in rural Minnesota, Kim Peterson has always been surrounded by animals. She obtained her Bachelor of Science from the College of Saint Benedict, and her DVM from the University of Minnesota. After completing her education, Dr. Peterson worked in emergency veterinary medicine. Soon after, she founded a veterinary clinic Critter Care, which specializes in the rehabilitation and release of injured and orphaned wildlife. Kim also founded Sweet Paws Retreat, a facility for boarding, grooming and daycare needs of pets.
Jennifer Tutko is a practicing veterinarian of small animal medicine in San Francisco. She received her Bachelor of Science (Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) from the Washington State University. After her graduation, Jennifer completed a rotating small intership at a private practice in West Los Angeles. She continued her practice by working in a mixed animal clinic, where she gained appreciation for working dogs and their needs. Jennifer’s interests include preventative medicine and surgery.
Nicole Ellis is a certified celebrity pet trainer and an author of the book Working Like a Dog. She grew up riding horses and bonding with family pets, so studying animal training came naturally to this animal lover. Nicole has worked with all kinds of animals, including bears and tigers and cats and dogs. She uses only positive reinforcement training methods as she believes they work the best with both exotic and domestic animals.
A former Special Forces Canine Handler, Destin Benoit has extensive knowledge and experience with military canine training. He has worked with multiple military dogs in the most stressful places and situations in the world. Currently, Destin is a SOC Canine Handler, aiding in the protection of the US diplomats abroad.
